You can simply stroll out the back gate, take about 30 steps down the beach track, and you are on the beach. The Barnards and Dunk Island are a short motorboat ride away. Fishing is as good as you can get, with fresh Coral Trout and Spanish Mackeral often on the BBQ for dinner.
