About this property
Only about two kms out of town is this brilliant block, just ripe for your new home build. It's unusual to have a block with a view that isn't steep, but that's exactly what we have here. It's very difficult to photograph views, but give Ian Riley a call on 0438065666 and book an appointment to have a look. There are some lovely trees, and good open ground if you are planning on having some four legged friends around. There is a constructed driveway up to the house site and town water and electricity are connected to the boundary of the block. There is a Land Condition Assessment for the septic and the house construction would only be a BAL 12.5 the land is zoned Low Density Residential. If you're local, you already know what a nice little town Clunes is, if you're not, treat yourself to a day out and come and explore one of Victoria's hidden gems. It's picturesque, Victorian main street and local goldmining history, make it a popular tourist destination. Clunes has re-invented itself as "Booktown" and attracts thousands of visitors each year to the festival where just about every business in town becomes a bookshop, it's great. Clunes is right in the heart of the central goldfields, ten minutes to Creswick, with restaurants and the RACV Golf Resort, half an hour to Daylesford or Ballarat and under two hours to Melbourne.
