Residents pay a monthly sum to the village Management body which is responsible for the running of the village. This monthly payment is invested in an interest bearing account and is used to pay all accounts associated with the village. Major items paid from this account include Council Rates, Water Rates, Property Insurance, roof and gutter cleaning, maintenance of community areas ( internal and external), public area lighting and landscaped gardens, repairs or replacement of stoves and hot water services. Residents are responsible for the cost or private contents insurance, telephone accounts, electricity and or gas usage where applicable. Pets are allowed on the provision that are not likely to cause inconvenience to any other residence. To be eligible, prospective residents are required to be retirees over 55 years of age.
